Around the world geeks have been hosting and event called Ignite to answer those questions. Presenters are challenged to share their personal and professional passions in an entertaining yet structured format. On June 14, Synapse CEO Scott Bright will rise to this challenge as a featured presenter at this tech event in Seattle.

Scott - and Synapse as a whole - hopes to inspire while absorbing passion and gaining knowledge from the insights that the other presenters will share.

UW Business Plan Competition

The UW Business Plan Competition is the marquee event for the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business. The CIE program promotes student ideas and new venture creation and provides an opportunity for business and science students to Seattle area industry experts, entrepreneurs, and clean-tech investors including Synapse's CEO Scott Bright. This provides Synapse an opportunity to support education and innovation.

In the past twelve years, the Business Plan Competition has successfully awarded $812,000 in prize money to 78 student companies!

Business Plan Competition Sweet Sixteen Round!
(judging and presenting Best Consumer Product prize)

The Sweet Sixteen brings together 16 teams who, after honing their presentations in the Coaching Round, are seeded out among panels and make morning presentations. Judges pick the winning teams by evaluating which teams are the most likely to have a successful outcome within the next five years. These are the finalists!
