Andy is an Account Director in the Seattle office. He has a very diverse background in industries that include aerospace, sporting goods, transportation, manufacturing, software and hardware development. He's spent time as a product manager, program manager, portfolio director and engineer. He works well in ambiguity and thrives in bringing order to chaos, leading projects and teams to success on time and on budget.
Andy came to Synapse from ARRYVE (now Grant Thorton), a management consultancy headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, where he was an Engagement Manager responsible for a variety of projects in software and hardware development and program development for investment companies. Prior to ARRYVE, Andy worked in new program management at Korry Electronics (a division of Esterline), supply chain development at PACCAR, and Product Management at GS2.
Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Masters of Business Administration from Seattle University.
He's a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Six-Sigma Green Belt. He volunteers on various board committees for the Lighthouse for the Blind in Seattle.
Andy's hobbies include attempting to corral his two children (Brighton and Margot who are 7 and 5), skiing, going to sporting events at the University of Washington, mountain biking and exploring the Northwest's great car-camping locations (see reference to kids above - no overnight backpacking quite yet). Now that his son is 7, he's enjoyed coaching baseball and helping out with soccer. Favorite vacation destinations include Lake Chelan, Vashon Island, Sun Valley, Whistler, and the San Juan Islands.
