Jacques joined Synapse in 2011, bringing his 20+ year technology industry experience, working with companies like Apple, Motorola, Intel, and Microsoft.
Jacques has had stints in product and engineering management, marketing communications and strategic marketing in technologies as disparate as memory ICs, microprocessors, Ethernet, iSCSI, Bluetooth, cell phones, bar code scanners, pico projectors, automotive HUD and various other consumer electronics products. He helped define, evangelize and launch gigabit ethernet, Bluetooth adaptive frequency hopping, Bluetooth wireless audio solutions, wireless multimedia technology, and mobile device and wireless infrastructure management. With vast knowledge of new product development and introduction initiatives, Jacques has brought disruptive new product technologies to market, helping establish Motorola as a leading IC supplier to networking companies like Cisco, delivering NICs & switch fabric to Dell, HP, IBM, and Cisco and launching networking & storage standards including iSCSI.
Having lived all over the world, he is fluent in several languages including French and Arabic. Jacques is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and has professional certifications in public relations management and PC architecture.
