John joined Synapse in 2013 as a Systems Engineer in the client services division. He currently leads the Software Engineering group in Orlando which covers both Dev Ops and Software Developers. John has worked on a variety of sensor networks for a diverse portfolio of clients in both the private and public sector.
John graduated from the Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law with a JD in 2016 and in addition to being a skilled technologist is a Licensed Attorney in Florida. John has penned various scholarly articles on a broad variety topics. Notable topics include the 4th Amendment and Strong Encryption, Multichannel Video Programming Distributors and the regulatory challenges faced by IPTV providers due to the the Federal Communications Commission, a 20 year post-mortem on the Digital Milennium Copyright Act, and Legal Ramifications of Homeschooling.
When not at Synapse, John enjoys hiking, watching (and playing) baseball, and spending time with his kids.
