Ryan Strange
Ryan started his latest go-around at Synapse in 2015. Since then Ryan has worked on developing a novel, ultra-low noise optical sensor for a fitness wearable and a low jitter, sensorless motor control system for a VR application. Lately, Ryan has been working on bringing a cool new gadget to high volume manufacturing.
Before that, Ryan earned a Master of Science in Renewable Energies Engineering at Loughborough University in the UK. Ryan then worked in the development of control systems for industrial scale three phase inverters used in solar power plants. Ryan’s work on inverters gave him deep experience in control systems, power electronics, MATLAB/Simulink, DSP and FPGA programming.
Ryan enjoys every excuse to get outside, including bicycling to work and dragging his kids on hikes in the woods.
