Hilary Hoops

Electrical Engineering Technical Lead

Seattle

As an electron herder extraordinaire, Hilary Hoops makes the LEDs blink, the sensors gather data, the power consumption efficient, and much more, all within challenging system constraints. She has done design, testing, and supported manufacturing for products with audio, novel sensor technologies, low-power wireless sensors, extreme temperature, and wearables requiring high reliability. Exploring the problem space for the potential solutions is paramount to her—why do things the way they’ve always been done if there is a better solution out there?

Hilary is a well-rounded, get-it-done type of engineer. Hilary holds a BS in Engineering specializing in electrical and mechanical engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington.

She holds patents, goes hiking, writes Python, remodels her home, and enjoys gaming.
