Andy leads our Industrial and Agritech Business Development efforts in the Seattle office. He has a very diverse background in industries that include aerospace, sporting goods, transportation, manufacturing, software, and hardware development. He’s spent time as a product manager, program manager, portfolio director, and engineer. He works well in ambiguity and thrives in bringing order to chaos, leading projects and teams to success on time and on budget.

Andy came to Synapse from ARRYVE (now Grant Thorton), a management consultancy headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, where he was an Engagement Manager responsible for a variety of projects in software and hardware development and product development for investment companies. Prior to ARRYVE, Andy worked in advanced program management at Korry Electronics (a division of Esterline), supply chain development at PACCAR, and Product Management at GS2.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Masters of Business Administration from Seattle University.

He’s a certified Six-Sigma Green Belt and volunteers on various board committees for non-profits in the Seattle area.

Andy’s hobbies include attempting to corral his two children, skiing, going to sporting events at the University of Washington, cycling and exploring the Northwest’s many other outdoor activities. He is a youth sports volunteer coach for both soccer and softball. Favorite vacation destinations include Lake Chelan, Sun Valley, Whistler, and the San Juan Islands.
