As a Senior NPI Engineer, Ian leads the selection and qualification of Contract Manufacturing (CM) resources for new projects. Ian works with the Synapse design team and the CM to ensure that product quality, cost, and delivery exceed our customers’ expectations.
Prior to joining Synapse, Ian spent two decades developing and manufacturing electronics for the wireless communications, space, and medical implant industries. A graduate of Boston University’s College of Manufacturing Engineering, Ian trained as a Six Sigma Black Belt in 2004, and received his Lean Manufacturing Certificate from the University of Kentucky in 2017.
