Synapse hosted Leadership + Design, 28 students, five educators, and many design gurus, July 18 – July 26 in our Seattle HQ. The students tackled urban design challenges with help of mentors from frog, Artefact, Microsoft, Igor Institute, and Synapse (to name a few).

The students approached topics like the design process, brainstorming, user experience storyboarding, prototyping, and iteration like seasoned pros. With innovative ideas like an urban relaxation room, gamifying the tourist experience, and repurposing shipping containers into urban living spaces, the students presented their final projects to a group of local professionals with confidence and moxie.

Interacting with, observing, and mentoring the impressive teens injected Synapsters with an extra shot of energy.
